This wine is sourced from Cabernet Franc blocks grown in heavy red clay. These soils encourage low yields and small berries, resulting in great intensity and concentration in the final wines. Look for generous notes of dark fruit, cassis, raspberry and blackberry, with cedar and tobacco.
This small-batch Riesling comes from the estate vineyards of Back 10 Cellars, which are planted with clones 21-B and 239 in the heavy red clay soil of Lincoln Lakeshore. It's a fine, lifted Niagara Riesling, with driving acidity, citrus, grapefruit, apple, and a characterful mineral note. A wonderful sipper, it will pair well with mildly spiced seafood.
This small-lot Chardonnay was barrel-fermented with wild yeast and aged in a combination of new and used Canadian oak, with extended lees contact. It's rich and round, with apricot, citrus, tropical fruit, caramel and coconut flavours.
