Based on Cabernet with Sangiovese in support, the Lux Vitis is given 24 months in 100% new French oak barriques. Stylish, multilayered and finessed, it evokes juicy redcurrant, sweet violets and wild herbs, along with hints of cocoa powder and espresso.

Compact and focused, this medium- to full-bodied red presents dark fruit accompanied by notes of mocha, chocolate nibs, licorice and graphite. The palate is structured yet polished, showing a seamless, velvety texture with hints of wet stone. Earthy and spiced, it is beautifully composed and finishes long and even. Drink or hold. Score - 95. (jamessuckling.com, July 14, 2025)

Beautifully perfumed aromas of violets, cedar and fresh raspberries with some strawberries, too. Full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins that add tension and focus, as well as a crunchy undertone. Needs three or four years to soften. Best after 2028. Score - 97. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 24, 2024)
