This wine is 60% Shiraz farmed in McLaren Vale and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Langhorne Creek. It's floral, with blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, campfire, and oak spice. Well-made and structured, with a smooth, long finish. Enjoy it with grilled meats or grilled portobello mushroom burgers. This will drink through to the end of the decade.

Aromas and flavors of blackberry, eucalyptus, rosemary and white pepper, and tea with a velvety, lively, dry medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length finish that exhibits nuances of blackberry, leather and white pepper, menthol, and red and black cherry with herbs with crunchy, chewy tannins and light oak flavor. A big Shiraz that stays in balance and doesn't become heavy while still showing good complexity; a natural pairing for rare steak or herb crusted lamb. Exceptional. Score - 91. This is sourced from McLaren Vale. It is a totally captivating and quite beautiful Grenache loaded with all the seductive goodies you expect from this variety. The bouquet reveals a rose petal and strawberry, blueberry thing contributing to the exotic perfumes. It's a wine that relies on the beautiful fruit characters, so only a smidgen of oak edges in.
