Sangiovese freshness meets Merlot softness in this Umbrian red, giving cherry, raspberry, blackberry and red currant with tobacco, vanilla, herbs and floral hints. The mouthfeel is round and fairly plush, yet the acidity stays lively enough for tomato-based pasta, pizza or a weeknight Italian spread.

A blend of Vermentino, Grechetto and Trebbiano. Thirty percent of the juice was fermented and aged on the fine lees in barrique for three months, with the remainder vinified in stainless steel.
