This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (30%) and Syrah (23%) all sourced from family vineyards in Osoyoos and Penticton. It delivers enticing fruit aromas, intense sweet-toned fruit (although it's very dry), menthol spice, and a long finish.[National Wine Awards of Canada did not include a tasting note.] Score - 92. This full bodied wine has notes of spiced plums, tobacco and black cherries. The wine has warm baking spices, chocolate and coffee on the palate. A full bodied wine with well integrated tannins. Best in Show. Score - 93. (London Wine Competition, 2021)
An intense, ripe, rich, complex Merlot, with concentrated black, red and blue fruit, plum, chocolate, oak spice, vanilla, and baking spice notes. Juicy and long. An ideal wine for braised duck and one that will continue to delight through 2027+.
