From a 30-year-old vineyard, this Bonarda includes a splash of Malbec and was fermented in stainless steel then aged for six months in French oak. It's generous and easy to enjoy, with good focus and structure, dark berry, blueberry, raspberry, gentle oak spice and smoke. This has the potential to drink through 2028+.
Fresh blackcurrants, blackberries, bark and pine cones on the nose. Fresh and firm with a medium body, tight tannins and a savory finish. 100% cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold [through 2030+.]. Score - 90. (jamessuckling.com, April 4, 2023)
