From a 30-year-old vineyard, this Bonarda includes a splash of Malbec and was fermented in stainless steel then aged for six months in French oak. It's generous and easy to enjoy, with good focus and structure, dark berry, blueberry, raspberry, gentle oak spice and smoke. This has the potential to drink through 2028+.
Deep blueberries and haw fruit, together with attractive peppermint, licorice and coke character. Juicy and plump with good mid-palate tension, even transparency. Full-bodied and filled with juicy blue-fruit flavors, but not heavy. Smooth tannins and a long finish. Real drinkability here. Why wait? Drink now [through 2025]. Score - 92.
