Tobacco, sage and rosemary come through nicely, together with redcurrants and cassis. Full-bodied, yet polished, with a solid and dense center-palate. Tight at the end now, but will open nicely. Needs two or three years to develop. 50% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 20% cabernet franc. Try after 2025 [and has the potential to see 2038+]. Score - 97. (jamessuckling.com, Dec. 1, 2022)

A soft and caressing red with a full body and plush, finely woven tannins. Plenty of dark cherry, mulberry, chocolate and some bark. Citrus zest and dried flowers, too. Lightly chewy at the end. 95% sangiovese and 5% merlot. Try in 2025. Score - 93. (jamessuckling.com, June 8, 2022)
Distinctive aromas of walnuts and hazelnuts with plums and berries. Some flowers as well. Full-bodied yet fresh and hemmed in with chewy tannins that give liveliness and compactness to the wine.
