Pioneering winemaker Costa Lazaridis was the first to plant Assyrtiko in Drama, doing so in 1979 and dramatically changing the region's fortunes in the process. Deep bright pink colour. This expressive Rosé is made with 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot grapes. The bouquet reveals aromas of redcurrant and strawberries with rich fruity flavours and fresh acidity on the palate. Pairs well with stuffed peppers and baked chicken with pasta or vegetables in tomato sauce.

Plum, dark cherry and raspberry lead a concentrated palate, supported by blackberry and dried red fruit. Vanilla, chocolate and oak bring richness, while smoke, anise, cedar and baking spice add savoury complexity. Firm acidity and tannins shape the full body before a persistent, peppery finish.

Created by legendary 'flying winemaker' Michel Rolland, this blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Agiorgitiko is rich and decadent. There's engaging wood smoke, generous chocolate cake and blackcurrant, and a long, smoky finish. This will drink into the mid-2030s and will be great with lamb or mushroom-based dishes.
