Trento is one of the few northern Italian DOCs that doesn't use strictly indigenous grapes. Chardonnay was brought to the region in the early 1900s, when most local winemakers were focusing on French traditional-method sparklers. A powerful Sicilian Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the uniqueness of the land where it is grown. Intense dark red-purple colour. The bouquet shows notes of blackcurrant and ripe cherry fruit with hints of spice. The palate is full and well-structured with generous fruit and moderate tannins. Pair with Ossobuco Milanese.
