Trento is one of the few northern Italian DOCs that doesn't use strictly indigenous grapes. Chardonnay was brought to the region in the early 1900s, when most local winemakers were focusing on French traditional-method sparklers. The bouquet shows notes of blackcurrant and ripe cherry fruit with hints of spice. The palate is full and well-structured with generous fruit and moderate tannins. Pair with Ossobuco Milanese.

Although classified as a white grape, Pinot Grigio typically yields wines with a pinkish hue when the juice is given sufficient contact with the skins. This PG is left in contact with the skins for over eight hours, resulting in a colourful wine that showcases pink grapefruit, red berry, fresh flower and mineral tones.
