Chiquet's NV Brut Rosé is laced with dried rose petal, kirsch, orange peel, cinnamon and dried herbs. Readers will find an exotic, mid-weight Champagne with a ton of character. There's ample Pinot intensity and also a slight vegetal note. All those elements come together in a Champagne endowed with striking nuance. This is far from an easygoing quaffer, although I suspect it will do just fine in that role if asked. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2023. Drinking window: 2024-2029. Score - 91.
