The Rabl family has been producing wine in Austria since 1750. Their estate-grown St. Laurent is an elegant red with notes of fresh raspberries on the nose with a hint of vanilla. The palate shows fresh berry fruit with balanced flavours from the gentle barrel aging. Enjoy it paired with gamey meats and earthy vegetables.
Rabl is one of Austria's oldest and most renowned wine producers. Their Zweigelt, grown in the Niederosterreich wine region, reveals delicate aromas of sour cherry, cinnamon and black pepper on the nose. The palate offers flavours of fresh cherry fruit, a refreshing mouthfeel, and fine tannins. Pair with grilled steak.
Pale golden yellow in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, aromas of fresh Golden Delicious apple, hints of melon and subtle meadow herbs with a touch of tobacco. The elegant palate is juicy, and balanced with good freshness and white stone fruit notes, already easy to drink, versatile. [Drink through 2026.] Score - 92. (Peter Moser, falstaff.com, Nov. 8, 2023)
