Bright earthy cherry red. Juicy and lively and bone dry. Quite delicate. Much drier than Amayna. Much more appetising than the Amayna Pinot Noir. Grainy fine tannins. Racy. Drink: 2015-2017. Score - 16.5 out of 20. (Jancis Robinson, MW, jancisrobinson.com, Feb. 18, 2015)
The 2019 Syrah Boya from the Leyda Valley was aged for 16 months in neutral oak. Purple in the glass, with a nose of blackberry, hints of pepper and gentle camphor aromas over an attractive, delicate bed of flesh, it's terse and fresh in the mouth, making for a bracing, flavorful red. Drinking window: 2022-2031 Score - 92. (JoaquÃn Hidalgo, vinous.com, June 2022)
