(Translated from the French): Bright hay yellow colour. Clean nose with tangy citrus and vineyard peach aromas. The palate is attractive and while aromatically simple, remains very pleasant. A Petit Chablis that will be best enjoyed as an aperitif. Score - Gold. (gilbertgaillard.com, 2024)
Crafted from Burgundy's second white grape (Aligoté), this is a fresh, taut wine with plenty of character. At the onset, it's floral and engaging with citrus and flint tones. In the mouth, it offers ripe apple, more citrus, some hazelnuts and a smoky/flinty minerality. An excellent choice for seafood and sushi, it will continue to evolve over the next 2+ years.
