Notes of ripe blackberries and black plums with baking spices, oyster shell minerality and some cocoa beans. Medium- to full-bodied with sleek, polished tannins and delicious cocoa-dusted dark berries. This is firm, round and delicious with nice length. Drinkable now, but better after 2023. Score - 93. Described by Fabián Valenzuela as 'the wine that pays the bills', this is a very enjoyableAgrelo Malbec at the price. Matured in a combination of French and 15% American oak, it's perfumed, smooth and supple, with glossy tannins and sweet plum and blackberry fruit. Wonderfully drinkable. Drink date: 2023-2027.
