This is very fresh and bright, with ripe dark cherries, dried raspberries, smoked herbs, spices and cedar. Juicy and tense, with a medium to full body and firm tannins. Nicely shaped and structured. Sangiovese. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold [through 2027+]. Score - 92. (jamessuckling.com, July 26, 2024)
Bright, shiny ruby red. Fresh cherry, fresh peach on the nose, reminiscent of candle wax, wild berry cordial, pear yoghurt, very fruity with floral hints. Exciting fruit on the palate too, embedded in tightly woven tannins, with elegant drive and progression, beautiful length, pithy, stony finish. Score - 96. (Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler, falstaff.com, Oct. 16, 2024)
Intense and open nose of oranges, orange peel, wild strawberries and peonies with balsamic depth. Full-bodied with very good fruit concentration, lifted acidity and large grained tannins. Still youthful but sweet. Best from 2028. Score - 97. (jamessuckling.com, May 24, 2024)
Plenty of red fruit with cherry and orange-peel character on both the nose and palate. It's medium-bodied with a round texture and ripe-berry character. Juicy and velvety textured. Just a hint of white pepper and spice at the end. Very drinkable now, but better in two or three years. Try after 2027. Score - 94. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 23, 2024)
