Ontario's 2019 vintage was a standout year for Pinot Noir and this one offers stunning value. It was fermented in stainless steel followed by 16 months in French and American oak barrels. Look for notions of black cherry, forest floor and stony mineral, and pour with tourtière or roast meats.

From a ripe year and now beginning to evolve this shows quite graceful and classic, well integrated syrah aromas of smoked meat, pepper, candied black cherry and maturing leather. Compelling aromatics. It is medium weight, quite sleek, smooth and well balanced with dusty tannin. The focus and depth are very good to excellent. Tasted November 2020. Score - 90.
