This wine blends fruit from a handful of renowned vineyards to create an elegant, mineral-laced Chardonnay with notions of lemon drop, ripe pear, pineapple and melon.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine is crisp, energetic, and anything but shy. It has good poise and character, with complex raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb, peach and grapefruit, plus baked bread and toast notes from 30 months lees ageing. An excellent wine that will enhance any meal.
This is the winery's flagship red, a blend of 32% Cabernet Franc, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 6.5% Petit Verdot and 5.5% Malbec. The wine was aged 16 months in French oak barrels (35% new, 20% one-year old and 45% neutral. The wine begins with aromas of cassis, dark cherries and cedar.
