Violet, wild mint, and stony minerality lead on the nose, with dark cherry lingering in the background. Vibrant acidity lifts white pepper and salinity, bringing focus to soft black currants and a refined granitic finish. Bright and structured, this wine should pair well with bold, spicy dishes. Enjoy now with a proper decant or revisit after another year or two of cellaring. Score - 91. (Anna-Christina Cabrales, Wine Enthusiast, Sept. 1, 2025)
A blend of 85% grenache and 15% syrah that was matured in stainless steel, this shows generous fruit in an easy-drinking style. The flavours are mostly in the red fruit zone with hints of spiciness, and they are wrapped around a core of fresh acidity. It's an attractive wine to sip on its own or to drink with food. Drinking window: now to 2026 to enjoy its freshness. (Tasted December 2023.) Score - 90. (Rod Phillips)
This gorgeous, old vine, hand-harvested blend of 80% grenache/20% syrah shows attractive aromas of crushed mixed berries, plum, cola, black tea and a hint of rose petal. Beautiful alcohol integration leaves all the space for fresh berry flavours to shine along with mixed dry herb and notes of delicious briny black olives all wrapped in polished tannins slightly drying the palate. This versatile exquisite red is surprisingly lighter on its feet than expected, providing endless options for food pairing. Try slow cooked pot roast or thin-crust pizza with black olives or duck confit. Drink or cellar [through 2028+]. Score - 93. (Louise Boutin, winecurrent.com, Jan. 19, 2022)
