This wine was aged for one year in third-use French oak, which means it takes on only the most subtle oak influence, adding depth and roundness without dominating the fruit. There's plentiful ripe dark berry over delicately induced black pepper and tobacco. A food-friendly wine with broad appeal.[Catad'Or Wine Guide did not include a tasting note.] Score - 91. Here's a naranjo with a vivid, light orange hue that you don't come across very often. Very perfumed nose with orange blossoms, jasmine tea, white grapes and orange jelly. Medium- to full-bodied with some subtle, lightly grainy tannins and a floral finish. Drink now. Score - 91. (Zekun Shuai, jamessuckling.com, March 1, 2024)
