Legend has it that Hercules was injured while fighting the Nemean lion, and that the Agiorgitiko grape - the basis for this wine - took on the colour of the hero's blood. This wine is elegant and supple, with juicy red cherry, plum, and a touch of spice, finishing smoothly with hints of vanilla and cocoa.

Clear, pale lemon; aromas of citrus, herbs with floral, minerally and mushroomy notes; extra-dry, medium in body, flavours are dominated by citrus and mineral notes, balanced acidity and a clean finish.

Retsina's famous evergreen aromas and flavours are achieved by fermenting the wine with fresh pine resin, which is removed later in the winemaking process.
