Intense and packed with black cherry, black currant, blackberry and violet aromas and flavors for the get-go, this stellar red is also laced with iron, black pepper, eucalyptus and tar elements. Brooding and solidly built, yet with a sense of finesse, this is balanced and the finish just seems ot go on and on. Best from 2030 through 2053. Score - 99. This wine is a blend of Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah - a unique mixture to be sure! It's refined, complex and layered, with generous dark fruit, cherry, and oak spice. This has the stuffing to drink into the early 2030s.
