From old vines situated along the Loire River, this is a classically styled expression of Sancerre through the lens of Sauvignon Blanc. It was aged on the lees for 12 months, bringing great depth and intensity to a core of crunchy tree fruit, green garden herbs, and river stones. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it will show best through 2031.
This Pouilly-Fumé comes from the sedimentary clay and limestone rocks of the slopes of Saint-Andelain, where viticulture has been practiced for centuries. Aged for five months on the lees, it's a complex, vivid, elegant wine evoking white peach, citrus, fresh hay and savoury herbs, with the terroir providing a mineral undercurrent. Perfect for river fish in a lemon-and-dill sauce.
For 10 generations, the name 'Henri Bourgeois' has been synonymous with passionate precision winemaking. The clay and limestone ridges of Chavignol evoke classic grassiness, gooseberry, grapefruit and mineral tones. Try this with scallops, oysters or tuna steaks.
Sourced from vineyards all along the Loire Valley, this wine melds easy-drinking fresh qualities with a slight tinge of lees stirring to give a bit of backbone. Look for notes of green apple, white flower and lemon grass, with an impressively long minerality on the finish.
