This Cabernet comprises fruit sourced from prime sites in Napa, Sonoma, Lake County and Mendocino. It's fruit-forward and balanced, with deep, dark ripe cherry and purple fruit embroidered by mint, vanilla, hazelnut and earth, all presented in velvety tannins. A good choice for braised short ribs, sautéed portobello mushrooms, well-seasoned steak, or hard cheeses such as aged cheddar or Gouda.
The name says it all. This rich, buttery wine brings the deliciousness, with flavours of crème brûlée, roasted marshmallow and butterscotch. Impressively, it retains balance and vivacity and is versatile enough to pair with pan-seared salmon, fresh salads and vegetables, rib-eye steaks, or lightly seasoned chicken dishes.
This wine comes from Lodi, which is the source of many of California's greatest Zinfandels. It's ripe and complex, with layered smoky dark fruit, clove, vanilla, and pepper spice notes. Long and quite refined, this will be great with a lamb or beef stew, or pulled-pork sandwiches.
