The aromatics are impressive, with orange blossoms, sliced oranges and black fruit. Hints of tar with some minerals, fresh spices and chiles. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins that run the length of the wine. They are polished and curated. Chewy at the end but there's a finesse, tension and focus. 42% tannat, 39% cabernet franc and 19% petit verdot. Drinkable now, but better from 2027 [into the early 2030s.]. Score - 96. Plenty of pencil shavings, dark fruit and blackberries follow through to a medium body, with a tight and focused palate and a long and flavorful finish. Reserved and polished. Bright, aromatic and bold, with complex dark fruit, cherry, and a slate-like minerality. This firm, structured wine will need some time yet; Decant for one hour tonight or hold till 2026. Pair this with grilled beef or pork, or with a mushroom-and-wild-rice soup.

This pink wine blends 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Merlot and 20% Marselan (the latter being a cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) grown on maritime hillsides. Fresh and vibrant, it showcases tangy red fruit and wildflowers. Pair with chivito sandwiches or pan-seared salmon.
