All Grenache, the tiny production 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Adrastée shows the more elegant style of the vintage with its beautiful strawberry and framboise fruit as well as flowery incense and spicy aromas and flavors. With medium to full-bodied richness, it has fine tannins, beautiful balance, and a great finish. Score - 93. (jebdunnuck.com, Oct. 30, 2023)
The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Adrastée brings more fruit and texture, yet it still remains perfectly balanced. Tons of ripe red and black fruits, flowery incense, pepper, garrigue, and spice give way to a full-bodied, pleasure-bent, sexy 2020 offering silky tannins, a great mid-palate, and the balance and class to drink well for 15 years or more. This cuvée comes primarily (all?) from the La Crau lieu-dit and is 100% Grenache. Maturity: 2022-2037. Score - 96. (jebdunnuck.com, Nov. 11, 2022)

An intense, dense and well-built blend of 55% mourvedre, 25% grenache and 20% syrah, with notes of blackberries, dark plums, black olives and cloves. Full-bodied with plush tannins, a compact core of berries and spices and a powdery finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold [through 2029+]. Score - 90. (jamessuckling.com, June 17, 2024)
A later release based on 60% Grenache, 30% Carignan, and the balance Syrah that saw plenty of whole clusters in the ferment, the 2020 Costières De Nîmes VOX reveals a medium ruby hue to go with a gorgeous array of ripe black raspberries, wild strawberries, spicy wood, and savory, peppery garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, round, and mouth-filling, it has good richness as well as an overriding roundness and elegance. It's a gorgeous wine and as good as many top Châteauneuf du Pape. Drink bottles over the coming decade. Maturity: 2023-2033. Score - 94. (jebdunnuck.com, Nov. 2, 2023)
Seeing just under two years in barrel, the 2013 Costières de Nîmes Lou Coucardie is 50% Mourvèdre, with the balance Grenache and Syrah. It was fermented with 40% whole clusters and aged all in 500-liter barrels and demi-muids. Tight, structured and tannic, with medium to full-bodied richness, it offers notions of liquid blackberries, leather, chocolate, graphite and crushed rock. It's good, but it needs 2-3 years of cellar, at which point I suspect it will merit an even higher rating. It will have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink date: 2017-2027. Score - 91+. From the northern, more clay and pebbly soils in the appellation, the 2023 Costières De Nîmes Héritage is based on 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and 10% Syrah, vinified with 30% whole clusters and aged one year with 25% in French oak. It shows more black fruits, roasted garrigue, pepper, and the meaty nuances that give this a very Côtes du Rhône-like style. Medium to full-bodied, it has a round, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. Drink date: 2025-2032. Score - 91. (jebdunnuck.com, Nov. 11, 2025)
