Extremely bright flowers and citrus with graphite, currants and blueberries. The nose is like going into a flower shop. Medium- to full-bodied with extremely polished tannins that caress your palate. Firm at the finish, which tells you that there is plenty coming in the future. A blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 25% malbec, 9% carmenere, 6% petit verdot. Try after 2028, but already open and enticing. Score - 98. (jamessuckling.com, Feb. 12, 2024)
Gorgeous nose with tobacco, cherry and strawberry nuances, incredibly aromatic. Beautifully textured and supremely balanced, so smooth with tannins that are there but fine and gently supporting the fruit. Everything in balance. Coffee, cinnamon, liquorice, all gentle and nuanced just giving the small details. Feels well controlled and purposeful. There is concentration no doubt but this has exceptional acidity, fruit forwardness, concentration and poise. A full bodied wine with plenty going on but finessed with a real sense of class to it. Delicious and so drinkable even now. Ageing 22 months in French oak barrels (75% new) and 25% foudres. Drinking window: 2025-2045. Score - 98. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com, July 4, 2022)
The 2022 Viñedo Chadwick comprises 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, sourced from the Puente Alto vineyard. Among Chile's iconic wines, Viñedo Chadwick has carved out a unique place for elegance and intensity, and this vintage is a stunning example. Aged for 20 months, with 90% in new French oak barrels and 10% in foudres, this bright purple wine unfolds nuanced aromas of cassis, ash and black pepper, complemented by a deep cedar layer that evolves into subtle floral and spicy hints. Dry, with fine-grained tannins and a juicy flow, its deep flavors lead to a structured and slightly austere mouthfeel - a finessed Bordeaux-oriented red with the plush tannins of Maipo. Beautiful. Drinking window: 2026-2040. Score - 98. (JoaquÃn Hidalgo, vinous.com, July 3, 2024)

The aromas of blackberries, cedar, sandalwood and black tea are compelling. Black olives. Rosemary and sage undertones. Full-bodied, rich and powerful Seña with impressive and powerful tannins, yet harmony and balance. Fruit-forward. Lightly chewy. Fresh and energetic wine in a hot year. Broad-shouldered. Drink after 2022. Score - 99. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 2, 2020)
What a beautifully maturing red Bordeaux blend in which delicate toasty oak, plus graphite and herbal complexity almost ideally complement the complex red-fruit aromas. Fantastic structure on the medium- to full-bodied palate thanks to the abundance of fine-grained tannins. Terrific interplay of restrained ripeness and cool reductive character at the extremely long finish. A cuvee of 55% cabernet sauvignon, 20% malbec, 12% petit verdot, 8% carmenere and 5% cabernet franc. Drink or hold. 20th Anniversary Berlin Tasting Event, February 2024. Score - 98. Overwhelming nose with a cornucopia of black, red and blue berries, perfectly accented by fine toasty oak. With aeration the floral notes expand. Super-concentrated and vibrant with incredible finesse on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Such great brilliance at the finish, where the power builds very steadily. Still so young, but already dangerously delicious. It will be really hard to wait. A cuvee of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 27% malbec, 17% carmenere and 6% petit verdot. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. 20th Anniversary Berlin Tasting Event, February 2024. [Drink into mid-2030s+.] Score - 100. (Stuart Pigott, jamessuckling.com, March 3, 2024)
The 2011 Seña was harvested at the end of a low-yield season in which temperatures were cool and ripening slow. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carménère, 15% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, aged for 22 months in three quarters new barrels. Garnet red in the glass. The nose is rewardingly fruity with delicate notes of blackcurrant, orange petit fours, country herbs, spice and dried flowers. In the mouth the palate is refined with a moderate structure and a flavorful, slightly juicy flow that lingers at length. A well-focused wine. Drinking window: 2022-2036. Score - 95. (JoaquÃn Hidalgo, vinous.com, Aug. 3, 2022)
This is the second vintage of Brisa, a wine based on the Las Vertientes Vineyard planted around 1999. This year's blend is 40% syrah, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 17% garnacha, 13% mourvèdre, and the rest is malbec, aged in oak (15% in foudres and the rest in barrels) for 22 months. The fruits are ripe and red, and there are spice notes in this wine with firm tannins and very good grip. It's still young - give it a couple more years. Score - 94.
