Nomad wines are made by Hinterbrook in Niagara and offer outstanding value. This perennially impressive Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and vibrant, with grapefruit, gooseberry and starfruit along with a suggestion of fresh garden peas. Pair with veggie risotto or a ham-and-pea quiche.

There's lots of hidden dark fruit that weaves its way between tobacco, cigar box, cinnamon and there's even a lovely layer of spiced raspberry on the finish. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon, all of which were sourced from a single estate vineyard in Niagara Lakeshore. The wine spent 36 months in oak barrels. Poised and polished, it will deliver stately dark fruit and impressive structure.
Sticky-sweet yet delightfully refreshing thanks to Ontario's innate ability to craft electrifying Riesling, this well-balanced wine will elevate any locally sourced dessert. Its flavours of dried dates, amber maple syrup, nectarine, and a touch of sugared pineapple will make it a delightful accompaniment to butter tarts, or dark-chocolate olive-oil cake topped with sea salt.
Niagara's 2023 vintage had its challenges (don't they all!), but a warm, dry fall swept in and liberated the grapes from the inconsistent conditions of the season; A fortuitous intervention that gave grapes time to ripen and to develop the concentration and balance that mark the year. This Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend is complex, structured and ripe, with sharply defined fruit.
Made in the ripasso style involving partially dried grapes and then aged for 12 months in oak, this wine is big, bold and bountiful, with notes of ripe strawberry, blackberry, cedar, and licorice spice. Pair with braised meats or a mushroom risotto.
